Privacy policy

Mendez Pro Painting uses the information you provide through mendezpropainting.com to handle estimate requests and painting jobs. This policy explains that use and how to contact us about your information.
What we collect and why
The estimate form asks for your name, email address, phone number and project description. Your description may include a city, service or color idea you add with the planning tools. We also receive information you share during related emails or calls.
We use these details to reply, discuss the work, arrange a visit, prepare an estimate and manage your painting job. We do not sell your details as leads or use them for promotional email or text campaigns. An estimate request is not consent to marketing.
Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers or other sensitive information through the form.
Who processes the information
Job-related information is used internally by the business. Service providers also process information needed to operate the website, deliver inquiries and provide business email:
- GitHub Pages hosts the website and logs visitors’ IP addresses for security. GitHub’s privacy statement.
- Web3Forms processes and delivers submitted form details and filters spam. Submitter IP and email addresses may be processed by its spam-filtering providers. Its infrastructure may process data internationally. Web3Forms’ privacy policy.
- Namecheap Private Email provides our inquiry mailbox, accessed through email applications including Outlook. Namecheap’s privacy policy and Microsoft’s privacy statement.
We may also retain or disclose relevant information when necessary to comply with a legal obligation or protect legitimate rights.
Browsing and cookies
Our current website code does not set advertising or analytics cookies or save your inquiry in browser storage. The planning and color tools run in your browser; selections reach us only when you include them in a submitted request. Hosting and security services may process technical information for their own operational purposes.
External websites have their own privacy practices. If we add tracking or another verification service, we will update this policy and any necessary controls.
How long we keep it
Our retention policy for unbooked estimate conversations is 12 months after the last contact. Completed-job, accounting and other records may be kept longer where needed for the job, legal obligations or a dispute.
Web3Forms currently keeps separate raw submission copies for up to three years from submission. This provider setting is separate from our email-conversation retention policy. Removing a provider copy does not automatically remove email copies, and vice versa.
Your questions and privacy requests
To ask for access, a readable copy, correction or deletion of information you supplied, email inquiries@mendezpropainting.com with “Privacy request” in the subject, or call (254) 228-8958. No website account is needed.
We may need to verify that the information belongs to you before disclosing or changing it. Please do not send identity documents without agreeing on a suitable verification method first. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or an ongoing job or dispute. We will explain any limits on a request and respond in line with applicable law.
If you disagree with our response, ask for a review using the same email address or phone number. You may also contact the Texas Attorney General about consumer privacy.
Security and updates
The form sends requests over HTTPS. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. This website does not require an account or collect online payments. We will update this policy when our practices change and show the effective date above.
